Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HRC team and client personnel to achieve engagement objectives
  • Utilize business, strategic, and analytical skills to perform tasks such as: financial modeling and analysis; operations and service strategy development, revenue growth; operational process and technology optimization; store labor planning and analysis; organizational design and competitive analysis.
  • Develop content and lead the preparation of high quality, refined reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity
  • Utilize a pragmatic and hands-on approach to the professional services arena

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Retail Store Operations Home Office, Field Leadership, and/or Retail Operations Consulting
  • Experience with developing, implementing, and/or managing store operations process standards
  • Experience with developing, implementing and/or optimizing labor budgeting and management processes and related tools

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA, a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management and other stakeholders or professionals
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis (particularly in Excel
  • Creative thinker with the ability to synthesize both qualitative (‘the art’) and quantitative (‘the science’) inputs
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in solving complex issues
  • Ability to manage and/or analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
  • Desire and ability to manage other staff
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
  • High Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • No relocation is required but weekly travel to clients is typical
  • Minimum 1-year experience, within the retail or management consulting industries
